SCOTT Sports Debuted the 'Addict eRide' E-Bike with Regulation Settings

SCOTT Sports, the Givisiez, Switzerland-based lifestyle and sports equipment company, announced the 'Addict eRide' as its latest electric bicycle. The Addict eRide is a subtle e-bike with no apparent electric drivetrain or motor, as most of the technology is hidden discretely within the frame of the bike. This results in the Addict eRide boasting a uniquely minimalist design reminiscent of traditional bikes.

Despite the emphasis SCOTT placed on hiding the electric enhancements, the Addict eRide still boasts impressive performance specifications. The bike achieves an adjustable top-speed of up to 20 miles per hour based on the region of the rider. This means riders are able to set their bike to adhere to local speed regulations and laws. The bike has an impressive maximum range of approximately 50 miles with an additional optional range extender that adds even more.

The Addict eRide begins at an MSRP of $6,770 USD for the regular version and $11,270 USD for the Addict eRide Ultimate version.
