Implications - Despite the number of race-related trends, many of them are either controversial or humorous -- depending on the person. With that being said, it is clear that the idea of a "post-racial" society is one to be challenged. All in all, this trend reflects that many people continue to have strong reactions to micro-trends like racist photoshopping and online cultural stereotypes.
