It's impossible to tell whether wearing a helmet could have saved Natasha Richardson's life. However, Dr. Robert Williams of Fletcher Allen Health Care in Vermont cites research that wearing helmets reduces the likelihood of a head injury by 40-60%, according to the Associated Press.
