This week's top trends ranged from realistic swimwear advertising to corner cutting boards that make the most of a kitchen set up.

On the fashion front, H&M made waves with its summer swimsuit catalog. Featuring a model with more shape and curves than most, the brand was applauded for putting a more realistic image out there in its promotional pieces. On a similar summer-inspired note, Free People released a boho-chic summer lookbook, filled with loose fitting garments that would look right at home in a music festival setting.

In terms of design this week, a cutting board made to fit between two corners of a counter went over very well with the Trend Hunter audience. Sturdier than most designs, this simple update impressed readers.
