26 Anna Wintour Adaptations

From Festive After-Party Packs to Coded Couture Illustrations:

Anna Wintour is the editor in chief of the American edition of Vogue Magazine, a position that she has held since 1988. Arguably the world's most infamous ice queen and most famous editor on the planet, Wintour has had books written about her, movies based on her personality and methods of running the magazine (Meryl Streep's character in The Devil Wears Prada was allegedly based on Wintour), and perhaps most notably, has maintained her status as one of the most intimidating women in the world since she started working at Vogue.

There are long standing rumors about Anna Wintour. For instance, apparently her employees are not allowed to look her in the eyes or share an elevator with her. She has held up international fashion shows, and stylist Tim Gunn once claimed that she demanded to be carried up a set of stairs instead of walking herself.

This list of Anna Wintour innovations, rumors, and everything else you can imagine, depicts the editor's influence on the fashion world.
