Although we should know better, many people cannot help but poke fun of stupid things people do. In fact, so drawn are humans to the acts of asinine individuals that entire television shows are based upon them; "The World’s Dumbest Criminals" and "Jackass" come to mind.

Adding to our thirst for cracking on the not-so-bright are radio and video shows whose hosts give pop quizzes on the streets to unsuspecting individuals. Particularly embarrassing, for me as an American, anyway, is when high school graduates and college students can’t name the vice president or our three branches of government!

I especially love the ‘Open-Source Stupid Filter’; it was created by software developers who apparently are sick of reading things like "How R U?" and "Fine TYVM" on Internet blogs and discussion boards.
