I have a background in costume design.

I love that moment when people get the joke, the references and then start laughing.

My current favorite trend is "catification", or making improvements to your home that increase your cat's security, comfort and well-being.

How do you reset to be creative?
I play in the dirt or go bicycling.
What inspires or excites you?
I love designing within limitations: constraints can really bring out the creativity!
Predict something awesome for 2020?
Gay marriage will be legal and accepted. In fact, in 2020 we will totally used to this and we will look back and say, "Golly! Why was that such a big issue? Of course everybody should be allowed to get married!"
