I'm a fun-sized 5'1 23 year old girl, and am often described as crazy and a little weird (but in a good way!). I love to shop, dance, hang out with friends, and travel (fun fact: my dream destinations at the moment are Rome, Venice, and Greece!). One of my favourite past times is eating. I love food! If eating were a job, I think that would definitely be my dream job.
I'm also a country girl at heart from growing up in the country and riding my horse is my passion. Though I still very much love the city! You can often find me browsing the shops of Toronto, or if it's a sunny day, you can also find me walking the boardwalk at Queens Quay. There's nothing more relaxing than taking a stroll by the water!

What is unique that's not in your bio?
Umm... I'll give you 5: 1. Because people often mistake me as mixed (I'm full Chinese), I often play along and tell people I'm Chinese/Irish with a long background story about how my real dad lives in Ireland (you'd be surprised how many people believe it!) 2. If I were a boy, my dream job would be to be a fighter pilot (jets are so cool!! Haven't you ever watched Top Gun?!) 3. I have an embarrassing scar on my forehead from running into a pool gate chasing a beach ball… I never caught the ball (for those who are wondering) 4. I once had a dream that Brian Litrell from BSB was at my school dance and asked me and only me to slow dance with him (NERD ALERT! Oh well) 5. I am a 5 star culinary chef in the art of microwave cooking! (take that Chef Ramsay!)
What's your favorite accomplishment?
When I was asked by one of my professors in 3rd year university if he could publish my essay in his upcoming book. That was pretty cool but the book was never completed. Boooo.
And of course scoring the internship at Trendhunter!
How do you define cool?
Something that makes you feel confident and good about yourself, even sexy! ;) Most importantly, cool is staying true to yourself, no matter what other people think.
What is your secret to uncovering trends?
Having a close intimate relationship with my laptop and the internet. Some days its a love-hate relationship... but when we click, magic happens! (clearly I don't actually have a secret)
What do you enjoy most about Trend Hunter?
Definitely writing and the challenge of finding new trends! But also finding out about all the crazy stuff that is out there!
What is your favorite trend?
Scandalous pictorials! And anything luxury... just because I like to live vicariously through those who live the lifestyle of the rich and famous
What are your tips for writing a juicy post?
I hate to admit it, but let's be honest... sex does sell, so definitely anything involving that
How do you reset to be creative?
Starbucks! Nothing says 'reset' than a tasty grande fat-filled caffeinated drink! But when I'm not indulging in a delicious beverage, riding my horse definitely helps a lot!
What inspires or excites you?
advertisements! damn the media is good..
Predict something awesome for 2020?
Instead of guns, everyone will be carrying around lightsabers... REAL ones! And of course be in the infant stages of learning to use the Force!
