Arrival Launches a Eco-Conscious Bus for Public Use
Electric vehicles are making their way from a consumer-oriented product to a widely available option as the push for zero-emissions public transportation strengthens. Most recently, electric auto brand Arrival launched a zero-emissions bus with "a number of features to ensure safe travel" during and in the wake of COVID-19 lockdown measures. Such elements of design include a "zero-touch bell and removable seats [that are geared] to facilitate social distancing."
In addition, this token of zero-emissions public transport also boasts some design-forward features that are meant to elevate the experience of riders—from the "panoramic" roof and large windows that enable optimal levels of natural light to the screens that provide information of how busy the routes are in real-time and how much seating is left on the bus.
