Google has just launched the YouTube map trends application. This new YouTube map application allows YouTube users to take a look at which videos are being watched and shared by the YouTube community. This could be a great analytics tool for many different users, businesses and industries.

This new feature on YouTube will show the top videos by age, gender and region. The site's top videos will be chosen based on their views as well as the volume of shares within a 12 to 24 hour time period. ‘Trends Map’ is also currently capable of giving users real-time tracking for the newest and most popular videos.
