YouTube now features 3D format videos and with the help of special glasses, you too can view them. Since the new format is becoming very trendy, YouTube is asking viewers to come up with their own, unique, full-of-fun 3D videos.

The chosen one will be posted on the front page in future 3D-themed spotlight. It is a great chance to gain exposure and be viewed by millions; it could give anyone instant stardom.

Here are short instruction on making 3D films:

“Use two cameras arranged like a pair of eyes. Start both cameras recording simultaneously. In your video editing program, place the footage for the left and right eyes together in the frame side by side, with the right eye on the left and the left eye on the right. Upload your video! Edit your videos tags and add yt3d:enable=true. If video is widescreen, add yt3d:aspect=16:9 too.”
