As a PhD project at the Royal College of Art in London, ‘Wearable Metal Origami’ was conceived by designer Tine de Ruysser. Having a fascination for the pliability of various materials, this Belgian artist has created this featured line of accessories from folded copper, silver and polyester.

Giving wearable design such structure breaks out of fashion and into the realm of architectural and industrial design. The metal cape, skirt and jewelry that make up her ‘Wearable Metal Origami’ have a complex strength and intricate beauty that truly proves her skills.
