The world is full of trendsetters who trumpet their creations through photography, art and fashion. Normally, you share your work through industry outlets, but how about sharing them with family and friends through social media?
With Visa’s Memory Mapper, a new Facebook application that allows you to chronicle a lifetime of travels, you can share to your heart’s content. Show family and friends the café in France that served as the inspiration for a pastel drawing, or the streets of Boston where you came up with the idea for bold new sneakers after watching thousands of marathon runners fly past you. Create an interactive map of all the places you’ve been to with this free, interactive app. Upload videos and photos to the Memory Mapper, and then add captions and music from a selection of tunes. The application uses Google Maps satellite technology to "flag" each trip location on a world map. Within minutes you’ll be able to share your creation with others through Facebook, Twitter and email. It’s more than just a trend – it’s a work of art!
And now, creating your own Memory Mapper is more rewarding. Through August, each day when you make a Memory Mapper you are automatically entered for a chance to win one of five $100 Visa Gift Cards. See official rules at: http://www.facebook.com/visa.
