What a fun blog dedicated to the artist Henry Major (1889-1948) and his character The Gay Philosopher. I really like the old Hollywood caricatures, which feature icons like Mae West, Fred Astaire, Humphrey Bogart, George Burns, and Gracie Allen.

Make sure to check out the painting titled “Pa Always Sez,” which says, “Happiness is like potato salad; share it and you’ve got a picnic.”
