What a fun blog dedicated to the artist Henry Major (1889-1948) and his character The Gay Philosopher. I really like the old Hollywood caricatures, which feature icons like Mae West, Fred Astaire, Humphrey Bogart, George Burns, and Gracie Allen.

Make sure to check out the painting titled “Pa Always Sez,” which says, “Happiness is like potato salad; share it and you've got a picnic.”

Implications - Classic designs are appealing to customers who are looking to stay connected to the past. Products that evoke nostalgia are attractive to those consumers who desire simpler times without the mounting responsibilities of modern-day life. Companies could introduce more of these emotionally appealing items in order to gain more buyers.
