The Viceland Channel Features Content Aimed at Millennials

'Viceland' is a new multinational television channel that launched in February of 2016. Vice Media is already hugely popular among millennial consumers and now the brand has its own television channel for showcasing lifestyle-oriented programs.

Viceland was originally launched as a way of adding television to the brand's digital-media portfolio. The channel largely specializes in documentaries and reality series that are aimed at millennial consumers who are already familiar with Vice's character-driven content. As of right now, the channel hosts 30 different programs, some of which are original series' and some of which are extended versions of existing web series'. What is particularly innovative about the platform is that it is accessible on multiple platforms, which is ideal for millennial consumers who often switch between television, apps and the Internet.
