Electric Sheep introduces Verdie, a new autonomous robotic garden helper that leverages photorealistic simulated parks and lawns to navigate obstacles and address challenges encountered in real-world gardening scenarios. Key to Verdie's capabilities is its compatibility with Nvidia's Jetson platforms, which enable the efficient training of AI models on a single desktop GPU. Moving forward, Verdie will inherit the prowess of the ES1 agent, bolstered by reinforcement learning in simulation to master the operation of various power tools, thereby expanding its utility beyond lawn mowing.
