Veeo took to CES 2024 to showcase three new fully transparent OLED displays named the 'Holodeck M30,' 'Holodeck T30,' and 'Holodeck T55,' each at a varying price point. The number in each name refers to the size of the display, though this is not the only difference between each model. The primary differences include whether or not the device is enclosed, and whether or not the device recognizes gesture controls. The M30 is enclosed in a case, the T30 is clear, unenclosed, and recognizes motion gestures, and the T55 is a large unenclosed screen that does not recognize motion gestures.
These transparent OLED displays have unique applications in a variety of professional scenarios, such as the ability to have a camera behind the display enabling seamless eye-to-eye video calls, rather than having participants constantly looking away to view on-screen content.
