Maria Jose Cristerna, also known as Vampire Woman, doesn't need to sparkle in the sunshine to be noticed by human beings. Why? Because her titanium horn implants, body piercings, fanged-tooth implants, gauges and body-covering tattoos are enough to gather attention from any mortal.

Vampire Woman may not "Vant to suck your blood," but seeing as how she is a tattoo artist, she would happily make you bleed a bit with a tattoo needle.

Although I can appreciate Vampire Woman being her own, unique, blood-sucking wannabe self, I hope she will understand if a person ran from her if they met in a dark alleyâ€"that is unless, of course, they're wearing a garlic necklace and carrying a cross.

As she told ninemsn,
I had the fangs done because I loved vampires as a little girl and I changed the colour of my eyes so they were how I really wanted them to be. Tattooing is my way of being immortal, of really being a vampire and not dying â€" leaving my work on other people's skin.
