‘I Heart Guts' Plush Uterus Recalled for Safety Reasons (UPDATE)

We recently brought you different organ toys from plushy company, “I Heart Guts.” If you have become a fan of their internal organ toy collection, you’ll be disappointed to know that the Plush Uterus is being recalled due to safety reasons.

Apparently the toy’s ovaries represent a choking hazard for young children. Unfortunately, the male counterpart of this toy does not exist in the plushy collection.

Implications - In today's society, consumer demands for imaginative and inventive products does not always require companies to introduce completely new items. Businesses and companies will benefit by altering or modifying the purposes and roles of particular items to something unconventional and unusual. Consumers are constantly being bombarded and overwhelmed with new products but irregular modifications to products that already exist will generate more attention.
