User Generated Soundtracks - Samsung F400 Ad Contest

Loads of bands have hit the big time after being featured in adverts including The Dandy Warhols, Devendra Benhardt, Jet and the Ting Tings.

Now mobile phone company Samsung is letting young, up-and-coming bands get a piece of the action. Samsung launched a website, f400share.com, to give
performers their big break. Bands can upload their tunes for a chance at having their music used in the advertisements for Samsung’s next handset, the f400.

Non-musical types can vote for the tunes they like the most, so they will only have themselves to blame if they are stuck with songs they hate in commercials!
