The US Vegan Climate ETF is the first climate-conscious and vegan-friendly exchange-traded fund. The ETF will launch on the New York Stock Exchange on September 10, 2019, under the ticker 'VEGN.'
The fund was developed by the European vegan investing platform 'Bedyon Investing' and will track the US Vegan Climate stock index -- an index that supports both vegan and eco-friendly enterprises and avoids companies "whose business models rely on animal exploitation." The ETF is available for international trade with the exception of European countries due to regulatory restrictions.
With both consumers and corporations taking a vested interest in eco-friendly and vegan goods and services, the new US Vegan Climate ETF will be an attractive investment to many potential stockholders.
