Spirit manufacturers always seem to be on the cutting edge of packaging design and the proof is in the bottle with this sleek tequila ‘flask’ that marketing company Kaleidoscope developed for their own brand concept called “Canteen.” The company feels that the tequila market is “relatively un-tapped in terms of brand differentiation.”
The Canteen line includes three flavours of tequila in modern silver, gold and copper trimmed minimalist packages, looking more like fragrance bottles than liquor.
Kaleidoscope wanted to “develop a marketing strategy for a wholly new tequila experience that would truly wow the urban luxury sect and nightclub-culture denizens,” and directly challenge the recent heightened popularity of vodka.
