Uponourstar Registry is About Dreams, Not Gifts

The UponOurStar registry is changing the traditional wedding registry process. The Canadian startup UponOurStar allows couples to register their dreams and wishes rather than gifts (because who needs another waffle maker anyway?).

The UponOurStar registry lets couples create a a customizable web page to share with their wedding guests. On this page, the couples’ wishes are described, which may include anything from a first home to a college fund for their future children. Guests receive e-invitations from the UponOurStar registry to contribute funds via bank transfer. And then, if all goes well, the couple will be able to afford at least one of their wishes.
