LA-based artist Fernando Reza created movie posters for the unmade films of Hollywood. He imagines the directors, casts and promotional imagery of great literary works like 'Don Quixote' and 'Heart of Darkness.' As stories like these were never taken to film, Fernando Reza took the opportunity to supply the works with his own meaning by creating a new medium for them. With this, the artist has a freedom that comes with filling in the blanks that haven't been defined while also making use of well-known figures and plots.

Posters of the unmade films imagine David Lynch directing 'Ronnie Rocket,' Alfred Hitchcock behind 'Kaleidoscope' and Stanley Kubrick accredited to 'Napoleon.' Casts include iconic names like Audrey Hepburn, Jack Nicholson and David Hemmings -- careful inclusions that make the unmade films all that more realistic.
