These gold sandals from United Nude look like something one might image a princess to wear in an Indian palace. The closed-toe Mobius wedges have a hollow heel, yet their rounded shape makes them look surprisingly comfortable.

United Nude, who pride themselves on unique innovations in footwear design, was founded by Dutch architect Rem D. Koolhaas and shoe-maker Galahad JD Clark.
