Patrick Curtet Takes Underwater Pictures of Models in Flowing Garments

These underwater pictures are part of a photography series aptly titled 'Water.' Falling into the water draped in loose, long and flowing garments seems like a terrible thought to most. However, photographer Patrick Curtet makes it seem euphoric and elegant in this series.

This artistic shoot features models in dresses and fabrics floating or moving-about underwater. The fabrics are sheer and contrast the water beautifully with bright colors of turquoise, purple and navy. Even in what looks like dark depths of the ocean (though, it's probably shot in a pool) the models do not seem distressed at all; they look nothing but graceful.

Much of Patricks work focuses on photographic campaigns for automotives so it is amazing how he can go from shooting raw, speedy mechanics to shooting fluid underwater beauties. Stats for Fluid Fashion Photography Trending: This Year & Warm
