The Tysta Mari restaurant is a gastronomy experience, serving fresh seafood and Swedish dishes. The establishment is located in the famous Östermalms Saluhall in Stockholm. Dating back to 1888, the Östermalms Saluhall is a historic food hall in the heart of the city. Following the recent renovation of the brick building, the Tysta Mari restaurant interior was overhauled by local practice Note Design Studio. The firm focused on creating a "welcoming environment that feels effortless, unexpected and full of charm." As such, the space features tiles that are playfully positioned off-kilter, beautiful ornamental patterns that trace the arched doorways of the eatery, and more. Overall, the interior exudes modern and whimsical sensibilities through the application of "gauzy fabrics, textured walls, glazed ceramics, and stainless steel."
