Trilby Hat by Ataahua

Once again I am dumbfounded by the outrageous price tags of eco-friendly items that are made by recycling CHEAP material.

A very good example is this traditional Cuban coffee roasters' Trilby hat by Ataahua. Handmade in New Zealand from upcycled Hessian coffee sacks, the cool hat sells for about $106.

Oh, I know it's handmade and that, "Each tailored hat is an original," but we're supposed to promote green environmental alternatives, not discourage people from buying them. Stats for Hats Made of Upcycled Coffee Sacks Trending: Older & Average
