Remember how cool you thought the iMac was when you first saw it because you could see the guts? The Gamma Concept car uses that same idea with a car. The Gamma Concept uses new polycarbonate and composites to make a see-through vehicle. All body panels are made transparent and are shaped by heating and forming. They are glued—yep, glued—to a carbon-kevlar chassis. The Gamma Concept was created by transportation and industrial designer Niels Grubak Iversen. Not only does the Gamma look cool, the materials make it a strong, light and fuel efficient car. References: nielsgrubak, yankodesignFiled In: |
