Popular rideshare service Lyft has announced a new addition to its app to help riders in the Greater Toronto Area navigate their travel options with ease—called the Transit feature.
By using Lyft's Transit feature, users will be able to view times and prices for the area's four transit agencies, including the TTC, GO Transit, UP Express, and YRT. This allows users to get a better understanding of how they should navigate their route, whether that means walking to the nearest transit station, or catching a Lyft to either get to their destination, or the transit station that will take them there.
The Transit feature is available to users in 11 other North American cities, including New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Lyft is also set to expand the feature to Vancouver in the coming months.
