The internet of things continues to expand to different products and appliances, and the Traeger Timberline grill is the latest piece of hardware to receive the technological treatment. Equipped with Traeger's proprietary WiFire technology, the grill can be controlled via an app, making managing one's cooking while simultaneously hosting a barbecue party easy.
While the Traeger Timberline can function just like any other grill should there be an absence of a Wi-Fi connection (or if users simply want to grill their food the old-fashioned way,) its major draw is undeniably the WiFire system. Through the Traeger app, available for Apple and Android devices, users can remotely control virtually everything they need to make a perfect dish. That includes temperature, smoke settings, timers, and even various graphics and visual all directly within the app.
