Halleroed Designs the Flagship Toteme Store in Mayfield

Stockholm design studio Halleroed creates a new flagship Toteme store located in London's Mayfair. The fashion brand's new space sees details including a sculpture done by artist Carl Milles and a unique steel sofa that is defined by Marc Newson. Founders of Toteme, Elin Kling, and Karl Lindman were a pivotal part of the design ideation with elements that nod to their Swedish heritage.
There was a strong focus on the way that light falls throughout the space when it came to the interior design process. Co-founder of Halleroed, Ruzandra Halleroed tells Dezeen, "We were inspired by the space itself with beautiful original windows letting the daylight in. The upper part of the windows was partly hidden, which was a shame, so we redesigned the ceiling with a half vault towards the front to show the full height of the windows."
