The Tortola RoundTail is a new bicycle designed to be more flexible and shock-absorbent than traditional diamond frames. The Tortola RoundTail was designed by Canadian cyclist Lou Tortola, who was looking for a way to reduce the injuries and pain associated with cycling.

The looped frame of the Tortola RoundTail was tested at Colorado's Microbac Laboratories, where it was found to be 10 times more flexible and 60 times more shock-absorbent than conventional frames.

The Tortola RoundTail is one of the most functional and creative bike designs I have ever seen. The Tortola RoundTail recently made its debut at the San Diego Custom Bicycle Show, and titanium, mountain bikes and hybrids are being designed for Las Vegas' Interbike Trade Show in September.
