Fashion designers around the world, including Alexander McQueen and Dolce & Gabbana, have taken to the wet look. By utilizing liquid shine finishes and other techniques, the new trend offers a refreshing contrast against the bold, matte looks that are also big this year. If you want more visual examples of the wet look, you can check out fashio156.com where you’ll find a new type of catwalk and an extraordinary photo proposal. They know the most important topic of interest for you are the latest outfits, so they prominently showcase them on the site. Ready to get soaked?

I have only ever been completely soaked on arriving in Crete and over-excitedly jumping in the pool fully clothed, and when I mistakenly decided to go on the rapids at Thorpe Park…later discovering that water rides should be left until last and that wearing wet jeans all day wasn’t a good or comfortable look. My misfortune aside, a seemingly random trend hits the catwalks of the colder months, and one that shouldn’t just be left for hot, holiday sunshine. This AW swimwear isn’t the only area of fashion design where water and clothing will meet. (fashion156)
