The famous ‘tricycle’ scene from The Shining has been reenacted with a WowWee Tribot and it is pretty darn awesome.

I just wonder where the heck this idea came from in the first place… “Hey guys, I know! Let’s recreate The Shining in robots!” See my point?

But if you are going to recreate any film scene, even one as creepy as this, you want to choose an iconic scene, and this certainly is that.

It should come as no surprise that this 1980 film has a firm place in popular culture. Other good examples of The Shining remakes have been seen:

Parodied in a Halloween episode of The Simpsons
Imitated in music videos such as The Kill by 30 Seconds to Mars
Parodied in hit UK comedy Spaced
In the disaster film Twister, the film is playing in the iconic scene involving the drive-in
