Paul Smith's brand has become synonymous with the use of multicolored stripes, and now that design is being applied to a series of elegant carpets. In partnership with The Rug Company, the British designer has unveiled several playful home furnishings which can seamlessly tie any room together.
In this particular collaboration, Smith opted for an "understated" pastel colorway as appose to his traditional vibrancy. According to the designer, "The classic stripe is given a contemporary twist with intersections and overlays, seamlessly flowing from one colour group to the next." Bluring the lines between interior design and fine art, this collection offers the contemporary consumer a stylish alternative to traditional market offerings.
Each rug has been hand woven from hand-knotted Tibetan wool.
