Inspired by kid’s drawings, these chairs don’t look too sturdy but they are real, functional chairs. Called The Mommy’s Chair, these sketchy seats will cost you $564 a pop. They’re designed by Lucy Merchant and believe it or not, they were the highlight of a recent exhibition in the UK.
Lucy Merchant's Mommy's chairs collection was the highlight of 100% East Exhibition last year.
Inspired by children’s 2-dimensional drawing, this quirky, unusual series is made of bent steel rods. The seat colour remains matt white resembling the paper drawn on.
