 Say it Ain't So! Say it aint so! High waisted fashion is making a come back to the horror of moms and daughters alike. Although it will be a relief to see a few less butt-cracks, this is still a fashion atrocity in the making… and one that’s been made before (for those of us who remember the eighties!) While some ladies can see this possibly working for a skirt, most girls cannot see themselves adopting this trend on a full-time basis. More than likely it will catch on with a few seeking to hide their paunch, but most of us are ready for this trend to pass before it starts.  For those of you who have been praying for the return of high waisted pants, get up off your knees and rejoice - they have made it to the must have list for spring (so in fashion language - that means they'll be trendy for the next 10 minutes). Yay!
The lazy side of me loves them - heck - bring on the Doritos, I can yank my pants up over my belly to my nose. But I'm concerned about the longevity of this style - plus - for those of us you are ahem - curvy in the hip/rear area, this might actually draw attention to that problem.
