“Sexting” is a new term for the common practice among teens of sending provocative, racy photos or text messages to flirt with the opposite sex. Experts say that 1/3 of 10-12 graders have sent or received ‘sexting’ messages via cell phone. For kids in grades 4 to 6, 10% have admitted to the same.
