Gadget designer Al Linke has created the Talking Breathalyzer, a device that can gauge and tell you how drunk you are. The gadget actually doesn't measure your blood alcohol level, but it does provide a handy little gadget for "amusement purposes" -- as the site says -- at parties and the like.
According to TechNewsDaily, the breathalyzer works via an alcohol sensor that heats the gases (and therefore, the alcohol) you breathe out. The Talking Breathalyzer is available as a DIY kit and ready-made for $139. In addition, it comes with a few different voices -- "New York cabbie" is one of them -- and has extra functions, including the ability to Tweet and text, tell you the weather and read out stock prices.
