Miss Moss' Taleggio Cheese Pie was inspired by the A Good Place to Gather blog. The New Zealand-based author made it for her family last winter, and given its popularity at the table, she has dedicated a lengthy post to the dish.
Although this recipe calls for the Italian taleggio cheese, it may be replaced with a variety of soft cheeses, inclusive of havarti, raclette or fontina.
Standard puff pastry is used as the base here, a product that one would find at most grocery stores. Baked and grilled mushrooms are then laced in alongside garlic, thyme, egg, olive oil and of course, garlic. As it only needs to be placed in the oven for 15 minutes, it is both practical and delectable.
