The Shoebag by Tal Weinreb Morphs from Shoes into an Elegant Handbag

The Shoebag by designer Tal Weinreb is a handbag that transforms into a pair of sleek leather shoes. At first glance, you wouldn't suspect that the Shoebag is anything but chic footwear. However, once the shoes are dismantled they can be used to form an elegant handbag. Each shoe splits in half from the middle using a wooden zipper system. The two shoes can then be connected together to form a fashionable bag.

The Shoebag's front and back are composed of blue leather while the heel tabs form a comfortable handle. Each of the beige-colored soles merge to form the sides of the bag.

Weinreb created the bespoke shoes using chrome tanned veal leather. With wet molding techniques and a little sewing, she put together the beautifully constructed shoes. Stats for Transforming Leather Footwear Trending: Older & Buzzing
