After months of anticipation by global hotel snobs, the luxuriously hip Thompson LES hotel is finally ready to open in New York City.
When I think hip hotel, New York City is one of the first cities that comes to mind, so this 18 story urban palace will no doubt be a welcome addition to the Lower East Side. I mean, if you’re looking for an upscale, ultra modern luxury accommodation, what better place to look than Manhattan?
The hip, industrial-style hotel was built by Rawlings Architects PC and the interior design perfected by Jim Walrod. Featured elements include a rooftop bar and an outdoor pool-side lounge. They also have a hip indoor Andy Warhol pool, which can be seen in the gallery.
Not all the rooms are open yet, but those that are start at $299.
