Cathedral Oceans is a stunning mixed art project by John Foxx, an English musician, graphic designer and educator. Foxx is known for masterful blending of audio and visual arts.
Foxx began the Cathedral Oceans project way back in 1983, and he continues to work on it today. As the video demonstrates, it's a soothing sensory experience with combines the soothing sounds of echoes and Gregorian chant. The images and sound featured here come from Cathedral Oceans III, the most recent addition to the fascinating project.
The Cathedral Oceans have also been turned into a traveling exhibit which has made its way across Europe.
