Lukas Peet's Surface Tension Writing Desk Adapts to Writing Needs

I hardly find myself writing with a normal pen and paper anymore (it’s true, I take word processing for granted) but if I did, the Surface Tension writing desk by Dutch designer Lukas Peet is the perfect desk on which to do so.

The reason is that the Surface Tension writing desk, which is designed with stretched leather over a wood frame, provides a soft or hard working surface depending on what you need—the surface is based on the tension of the leather. If you’re writing with a pen, for example, you could make the surface softer so the pen glides more easily across the paper.
