Erich Remash, Jeremy Berglund, Don Peterson and Chad Ingle came together to create the installation titled Starlight at Burning Man Festival.
The piece consists of seven star lights that were erected at the Black Rock Desert in Nevada. Commissioned for the Burning Man festival, the installation pays homage to this year's apocalyptic fixation. Architect Erich Remash says of his inspiration: "If the sky is falling, why not create heaven on earth?"
Star-shaped lights were placed to resemble the Orion constellation to make for a striking contrast amid the surrounding sandy landscape. The design is aesthetically pleasing with its intricate patterns and breathtaking design concept. Starlight captivates with its surprising placement in a solitary location, which reminds me of Elmgreen and Dragset's Prada Marfa piece.
