Interactive Brainstorming Tables - The S.P.I.C.E

Industrial designer Jason Chang’s latest design is the S.P.I.C.E Interactive Table, based on the concept that “stimulating play inspires creative expression.” As shown in the picture, it’s a glowing, interactive table that displays games (identifying patterns and relationships kind of games) that would need team work and collaboration, which leads to brainstorming.

The table encourages “spice” in conversations as it engages interaction and stimulates communal creativity. It is an interesting gaming concept that will render some intelligent amusement.

Personally, I see it as a way for people to slack off. I remember when my boss brought in a Wii to make the work environment more fun and to encourage team work… let’s just say he had to take it away in less than a month cause it was taking the work out of the work environment.
