The Sphere Planter Merges a Narrow Flower Pot with an Arced Expterior

The perfect little flower pots are sculptures all on their own, made by the careful hands of Stephen Green from Tokyo Craft Studios. They embody the wonderful smooth white shell of porcelain, molded into a small slender vase with a three-sided exterior of graceful curving arcs.

The space occupied by the Sphere Planter is the full form of a globe. However, this piece has had three circles excised to expose the hollow inside and the shape of the container to produce a triangular bird’s-eye image. The endearing ornamental object can be placed on a table or suspended from the ceiling, passively collecting drained water from the soil of the vegetation within.
