'Sons of The Forest' is an upcoming open-world survival horror simulator from the makers of 'The Forest.' In this terrifying new experience, players are sent to a remote island to find a missing billionaire, only to find themselves in a cannibal-infested hellscape. Players must craft, build, and struggle to survive, either alone or with friends.
Unlike other survival games, Sons of The Forest offers complete freedom to tackle the world in any way players choose. There are no NPCs barking orders or giving missions, so players have full control over what they do, where they go, and how they survive. Armed with pistols, axes, stun batons, and other tools, players must fight against a range of mutated creatures, some of which are almost human-like, and others that are entirely new.
Players must also adapt to changing seasons and environments, plucking fresh salmon from streams in spring and summer and collecting and storing meat for the cold winter months. Co-op gameplay is available, allowing players to share items and work together to build defenses or explore above and below ground.
