Sumpto is a company that reaches out to college students for surveys and demographics; recently it used data from Snapchat's social media statistics to provide an infographic on the influence McDonald's has on creating new industry patterns.

This brand-focused infographic allows marketers to take a closer look at the influence of Snapchat, and ultimately how social media is affecting consumerism. Sumpto surveyed a little more than 1,500 students in post-secondary institutions; university students are more engaging in social media and set the target for marketing campaigns. The infographic depicts how McDonald's introduced new products and engaged their consumers exclusively via Snapchat.

This shows the benefits of precise social media forms; by providing consumers with exclusive brand information, they are creating anticipation which entices consumers in products. More companies ought to connect with their consumers on social media platforms, as oppose to big advertisements that aren't as personal.
